TCG Priced is a remote MCP server. It has three read-only tools that look up trading cards and their TCGplayer market prices in our card sites' catalogs. There is no sign-in and no account.
Connect
- Claude:
https://mcp.tcgpriced.com/mcp - ChatGPT:
https://mcp.tcgpriced.com/chatgpt/mcp
Both use Streamable HTTP with no sign-in. The setup steps for each app are on the home page.
Tools
Each tool returns structured content and the same answer as text. All three are marked read-only and change nothing.
search_cards
Finds cards by name, set or number. Returns up to 10 matches, each with a card id for get_card_price and a link to the card's page.
query(required): the card name, optionally with a set or number, for example "charizard base set" or "lea 232".game(optional): one game id, listed below. Without it, every game is searched.
get_card_price
The TCGplayer market price of one card for each finish (Normal, Holofoil, Reverse Holofoil, 1st Edition, Foil and more), the date the prices were updated, and the card's page.
card_id: an id from search_cards, for example "pokemon:charizard-base1-4".name: the card name, when there is no card id.set(optional): a set name or code that narrows the name, for example "Base Set" or "LEA".game(optional): one game id.
A price answer can also carry one Buy link for the main finish. It goes through the card site's own /buy page, which opens TCGplayer or CardNexus. It is an affiliate link: we may earn a commission. The answer says so next to the link.
get_set
A set's card count and its five most valuable cards by TCGplayer market price, each with its finish, and the set's page.
set(required): a set name or code, for example "Base Set", "151" or "LEA".game(required): one game id.
Games
Each game's data comes from its own card site:
pokemon: Pokemon, from pokemoncardlist.netmtg: Magic: The Gathering, from mtgcardlist.comyugioh: Yu-Gi-Oh!, from yugiohcardlist.comonepiece: One Piece Card Game, from onepiececardlist.comlorcana: Disney Lorcana, from lorcanacardlist.comriftbound: Riftbound, from riftboundcardlist.comswu: Star Wars: Unlimited, from swucardlist.comgundam: Gundam Card Game, from gundamcardlist.compalworld: Palworld, from palworldcardlist.comcyberpunk: Cyberpunk, from cyberpunkcardlist.com
What the prices are
Prices are TCGplayer market prices (via TCGCSV) in US dollars, one per finish, written as ~$X with the date they were updated. A few cards use another source, and the answer names it, the same way the card page does. Each answer says the date its prices are from. A guide, not an appraisal.
Example prompts
- What is a Base Set Charizard worth?
- What are the most valuable cards in Pokemon 151?
- How much is The One Ring from the Lord of the Rings set, foil and non-foil?
- Find Roronoa Zoro cards from One Piece.
Privacy and limits
The server keeps no record of the cards you ask about. Its logs hold the tool name, the game, whether a card was found and how long the answer took. See the privacy policy. Problems or wrong prices: support.
